Chief Corporate Development Officer
Member of the Executive Committee of Colonial since January 2009, as Chief Corporate Development Officer. In this role he is in charge for Corporate Development, Reporting Controlling, as well as Investor Relations.
Graduate in Business Administration and Management from the Mannheim Business School (Germany), studies in the framework of the Multiregional International Business Programme at the “Universidad Autonoma” of Barcelona & Swansea University (UK) and postgraduate studies at IESE and Harvard Business School.
Carlos Krohmer began his professional career in the Unilever Group in Hamburg (Germany) in various posts of responsibility in the Controlling and Finance departments. In 1999 he was appointed Head of Reporting & Management Control of Unilever Bestfoods Germany. In 2001 he joined Criteria CaixaHolding, a subsidiary of “la Caixa Group” in Spain, in the Area of Corporate Development as Head of Real Estate Investments. In addition he had a role as Senior Project Manager in the 2007 IPO of Criteria CaixaHolding on the stock market. Until the middle of 2008, he was a director of Holret, S.A., a French real estate subsidiary of Criteria. He joined Colonial in January 2009. Until the year 2010 Carlos Krohmer has teaching experience as professor for Corporate Finance at the La Salle Business Engineering School in Barcelona.
Actually he is Chief Corporate Development Officer of Colonial since January 2009 and member of the Board of Directors of Colonial’s listed subsidiary Société Foncière Lyonnaise. In addition he is a member of the Investor Relations Committee of the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA) and he is also vice-chairman of the Board of Executive Circle German speaking.
