BEART 2025: art in Madnum

Call for Entries
Madnum, Colonial's new business complex in Méndez Álvaro, Madrid, continues to consolidate its position as a benchmark in urban innovation. This campus of offices and services integrates contemporary design, sustainability and wellbeing in an environment designed for work and community life.
With this same vision, Colonial is launching the second edition of the BEART competition, in collaboration with Gärna Art Gallery. This is an initiative focused on female talent that is committed to art as a tool for reflection on the future of our cities.
The previous edition, held in the Miguel Ángel 23 building, served as a starting point to bring contemporary art to prime workspaces. Sculpture and photography coexisted in an urban environment thanks to the pieces selected by a specialized jury. You can find more information about that call here.

Guidelines
This year, BEART moves to Madnum with the same objective: to promote artistic creation in two disciplines, photography and sculpture, with works that address the idea of a livable future from a female perspective. The winning pieces will be integrated into the lobbies of the complex and become part of the everyday environment. The call is aimed at women artists residing in Spain, both emerging and consolidated.
Jury
The proposals can be works already made, as long as they have not been awarded or exhibited before. The finalists will be selected by a jury made up of professionals from the sector such as José María de Francisco (ESTAMPA Fair), Julieta de Haro (CentroCentro), artists Paula Anta and Pamen Pereira, Enrique García Sánchez (Gärna Art Gallery) and Begoña Muñoz (Colonial).
BEART 2025 seeks to generate a dialogue between art, city and citizenship, bringing contemporary creation to unconventional spaces and reinforcing Colonial's commitment to culture, equality and sustainability.
