Discovery Building “cubre aguas” y coloca la bandera

El inmueble de oficinas Discovery Building, en fase de edificación, ha dado por finalizada la estructura de la obra. En la actualidad, está en marcha la construcción de fachadas y el resto de instalaciones que configuran la totalidad del inmueble. El proyecto finalizará en octubre.

Se trata del primer edificio “Prime Factory” de Colonial y ha sido concebido y diseñado por el prestigioso Estudio Lamela de arquitectura. Un espacio de 10.000 m2 de plantas diáfanas y flexibles adaptables a las necesidades de cada empresa y que permitirá una ocupación máxima de 1 persona por cada 7 m2 útiles.

Discovery Building se sitúa en el Paseo de la Castellana a la altura de Plaza Castilla y muy próximo a la Estación de Chamartin, una de las zonas de mayor concentración empresarial de Madrid.

El inmueble ha sido proyectado para obtener la certificación LEED Gold, un prestigioso sello que puede conseguir un edificio en cuanto a su compromiso con la sostenibilidad. Las pautas que se evalúan para la obtención de este sello son los criterios utilizados en la construcción del edificio, la selección de los materiales, los procesos constructivos y las decisiones tomadas sobre el consumo de recursos naturales y energéticos.
