Colonial alquila el edificio Castellana 43 al gigante del coworking WeWork

Wework, la empresa dedicada a la creación de espacios de coworking, comienza su negocio en España. La empresa americana ha elegido como sede Madrid y se instalará en el edificio Castellana  43, propiedad de Inmobiliaria Colonial. WeWork también tiene previsto la apertura de otra oficina en Barcelona y se instalará en el distrito 22@.

El edificio Castellana 43 albergaba anteriormente la sede de la empresa Abengoa que se mudó en julio de 2016. WeWork no ocupará todo el espacio de oficinas sino que compartirá ubicación con Grupo Larrumba, dedicado al negocio de la restauración.

El inmueble fue sometido a una intensa rehabilitación tras la que obtuvo la certificación Leed Gold, una característica, que junto a su ubicación privilegiada en el eje de la Castellana con la calle General Martínez Campos, le puso en el punto de mira de varias empresas.

WeWork es uno de los gigantes del negocio del coworking en todo el mundo. La compañía, con sede en Brooklyn, ha conseguido cautivar a grandes empresas como Spotify, Salesforce, Microsoft, Bank of América o KPMG, que han contratado sus servicios para algunas de sus filiales en todo el mundo.

Castellana 43, cuenta con una superficie total sobre rasante de 5.998 metros cuadrados, repartidos en nueve plantas y con más de setenta plazas de aparcamiento. 

Gracias a esta operación, comercializada por la consultora Cushman & Wakefield, Colonial ha logrado maximizar la rentabilidad del inmueble.
